THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

You're a sweetheart, aVoX ... ... I guess, most of us check the lyrics in the SistersWiki ...
but not everybody manages to find the right line, nonetheless ... so, well done ... ...
'Are we the Baddies?'...
"Someday! Someday, everything you need, is just gonna fall out of the sky..." -A.E. Reading 1991
"Don't forget that most of the judges in witches trials had harvard degrees."
I was gonna go with "f**k me! Where has the time (and my hair) gone?", but that's not a lyric (I know of)...
“Getting an education was a bit like a communicable sexual disease. It made you unsuitable for a lot of jobs and then you had the urge to pass it on.

Now that you say it, the silhouette above indeed looks like mid-2000s Von, before he decided to get rid of his last hair
Mid-2000s, so like, 35 years in the future? (sorry, couldn't resist!)
I should probably add that that was a quote from his short-lived Twitter account.
“Getting an education was a bit like a communicable sexual disease. It made you unsuitable for a lot of jobs and then you had the urge to pass it on.

Jeremiah wrote:"When you can give me head
And run your fingers through my hair" - YCBTO.
Alternatively "When you can give me hair and run your fingers through my head…"
correct

She go walking she go crawling she go sliding through the air
She go talking warm and fashion she go talking debonair

It's a very short section of lyric, less than a full line. Think about what the person in the picture is doing right now (but also think about what she might have been doing shortly beforehand, which gives a clue to the previous line of the song.)
I tried to tell her
About Marx and Eldritch, God and angels
I don't really know what for.
"Walking through the rain
Trying to hold on waiting for the train" - Nine While Nine
... discard that waiting for the train part and it seems plausible.

Correct. - it was "trying to hold on" that I was originally looking for.
