Pop goes the Iggy

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

In the wake of Mr. Clarkson's imminent departure, Auntie gives man resembling scrotum full of walnuts a permanent Friday night gig.

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

I had a similar train of thought, what with prominent people dropping dead in droves at the moment...

I heard the trailers for this earlier today, but when I saw the thread title, I did hop on twitter to see what was trending. Usually that's a pretty good elbow in the water.
His radio shows are actually very good & his John Peel lecture last year was brilliant :D
Cheers.

That is a horribly apt description. I can't decide if I should praise you for it or condemn you for it.

The most successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure uniformity but the one that removes the awareness of other possibilities, that makes it seem inconceivable that other ways are viable, that removes the sense that there is an outside.
