Currently Listening To...Imminent Sonic Destruction!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

The video/single for "Land of the Innocent" got my attention initially. It's good stuff.

The most successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure uniformity but the one that removes the awareness of other possibilities, that makes it seem inconceivable that other ways are viable, that removes the sense that there is an outside.

Thanks to both, had not heard the single before today.

Glad to hear that they've beefed up the formerly fey psychedelic sound.

Indeed. To be fair, a lot of the debut album is pretty beefy...but I ttake your point. :P

Bloody loving this. Yes, it does sound a bit samey and I'd also agree some of it sounds like the last album but, balls to it, it never stopped The Ramones.

Wow Steve, that L7 album is a blast from the past... I used to have that LP, but sold it many moons ago. Wish I didn't actually.

It's a corker (still) innit?
Any band who can write a song called Bite the Wax Tadpole can't really be ignored :D
I was getting a bit sick of the media waffling on about this Kurt Cobain thing & the amount of mediocre grunge on the radio. This seemed to be a must-play.
Cheers.
