That right there is a deep-fried slice of ORSUM!
Now, since has long-resisted my entreaties to play 1959 on stage, do you think He might be prevailed upon to do this version of Flood II as an opener? I can see it in my mind's eye - 3' of smoke over the stage, grand piano in the middle, single spot, couple of synched lasers and strobes; song finishes, fade to black, roadies wheel piano off, guitar slide opener to When You Don't See Me and lights up on first drum crash, front and centre, foot up on a monitor, fag in hand, mic stand canted forward...
...shit. Not gonna happen, is it?

Nice ... ... she's managed to capture the monumentality as well
as all the sweetness of the song in a revealing and complementary contrast.
Very lovely. And so reminding of all those rivers ... like the original when I first heard it ... ...

I love her stuff. I discovered her a few years ago, doing Metallica covers, I think her version of Orion was the one that did it for me. She's pretty damn good.

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.
Well yes, it's amazingly good, but these "trained" classical musicians are generally on a totally different level compared to most rock or pop stars, so I guess most of her "colleagues" could do something similar if they really wanted to. Still, absolutely awesome
