Hi there,
after a long time I got back to the fantastic music of SoM and I wanted to know what Andrew was doing or is currently doing with his fabolous talents.
I started to browse the net and I read about the hidden agenda on the official site and then I found the cool 404 error page with this great part of a text based adventure and a hint to look for "Frotz"... and so on and so on... Then I found out about Edlritch the Cat Ltd (UK) and the Game "Astaroth: The Angel of Death" where "You must guide Ozymandias through the catacombs of Astaroth's domain" (http://www.mobygames.com/game/projectyle)
Maybe this all is just nonsense but on the other hand Andrew states that he is very much into computers and even wrote lots of articles about computers and the internet and such stuff... and the game "The Hound of Shadow" which "is loosely based on the works of H.P. Lovecraft, and is thus firmly grounded in the genre of horror. The game is set in London during the 1920s, and incorporates a number of historical elements, such as the character of Elizabeth Bathory." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hound_of_Shadow)
I'm just curious... what are your thoughts to all that?
Eldritch Games Ltd, Eldrich Games, and Eldritch the Cat Ltd
Honestly... It wouldn't surprise me much if it turned out that he was involved in making computer games back then. Mr. Eldritch has mentioned several times his love for Lemmings and Doom (among other games), although I wasn't aware of the fact that he'd written articles for computer magazines before. It's definitely an interesting find though.

He might be a computer nerd and into games and all, but I think he has nothing to do with these games in a direct way. For "Astaroth", one of the artists simply based one of the caracters in the game on Andrew.
And names and terms like Ozymandias and Eldritch are very common in Lovecraftian/victorian/vampyre-based games and companies

Keep Music Evil
Interesting post, but after very very brief googling I found not links between Eldritch Games and Andrew Harvey William Taylor.

Wasn't there an interview in that Classic Rock goth special where he said he watches japanese films, goes on computers and listens to the cricket with his cats and girlfriend?

I don't know how much he earns per gig, but I'd assume he has been doing something aside from the Sisters, just because of how rarely they go on tour nowadays.
Didn't he recently mention spending his time in some creative capacity relating to 14th C Italian literature, in some interview, somewhere?
Also, he definitely used to write a column regularly for some German IT magazine. His computer nerd's tendencies have never been hidden.
(I seem to have lost my creepy andrew.txt so sadly don't have the details at hand.)
