Favourite Christopher Lee story: legend has it that he was being interviewed on Parkinson or similar, and the host said, "So, you were once in military intelligence. Can you tell us about it?"
Lee leans in to the host and asks, "Can you keep a secret?"
"Yes," says the host.
Lee looks him straight in the eye and says, "So can I."
A class act, a huge presence, and while he's probably not overly fond of the role there's part of me hopes that they bury him in that long black cloak with the red lining. Hammer House of Horror used to scare me silly when I was a nipper.
