Interesting. I just read this http://www.musikvergnuegen.com/about.php and still have no idea what Musikvergnuegen would need VT for. If they were hawking TSOM around advertisers, they would presumably have the band's permission ??

What's on it?

Are you able to post the EAC Peak values (http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/) or Dynamic Range values (http://dr.loudness-war.info/downloads/DR-Meter-1_4a.zip) so that we can identify if it's a unique mastering?

I have no idea what any of that means honestly. The times do appear to be a tad different. It's for sure the 8 track version.

Well, the original German and USA CDs contain different masterings of the tracks. The German is a little flatter, whilst the American has more bass. The German also has the track flags for Ribbons and Detonation Boulevard in the wrong place so DB starts with the end of Ribbons - the American disc doesn't suffer from this problem.

It would be interesting to know if the CD you've bought is identical to either of the above, or whether it is unique (i.e. a third mastering). You can determine that by scanning the disc's peak and/or dynamic range values and comparing them to the other two releases. Do you know what year it was pressed?

Check musikvergnuegen.com - their own music for movies/commercials, likely to being presented to customers. Us original pressing with different label?

Any song should be enough to decipher which mastering it is (preferably in FLAC/ALAC format). Does Detonation Boulevard start correctly?

It appears to be identical to the USA mastering:

I've still got the "regular" Argentina version (without promo stamps) for sale. I actually thought the "regular" version was rarer? Maybe not? Song titles are also in Spanish.
