Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. well done to you, though i cant really see there was any choice other than to vote "no". i for one dont want to see the creation of another "3rd world debt" situation, especially here in europe.

...and good luck with whatever arises from this decision...

Politicians, economists and financiers will crush you in next few days. Lot of thing need to be mended to get back to balance; on the other hand, beside tightening fiscal sphere (pay the damned taxes for benefit of everyone!), there are not much more thing to do.
Only good things for you and you countrymen (and few of my friends in there). :notworthy:

Really? The International media have got it all wrong and a blog - let me repeat, a blog - called "Truth and Satire have got it right?
This is the essence of the New World Order — a world owned by a handful of corporations and banks.
I'm donning my purple robes and Googling "David Icke" as I speak.

You know I love you Konstantinos, you're all in a joyous mood but it is a hard time for your country. Reality has to kick-in some day. Or reality will kick you in.

As for the non-Euro Zone participants in this thread, with their leftie/communist/anarchic shows of "support", forgive me if I just smile benignly.

You're a good man Koni. You've a wonderful country. :notworthy:

Take care my friend and good luck!

Don't understimate the Satire, i will remind you Aristophanes. It is most propable to hear the hardest truths in there than those channels on the boxes that usually sheeple watch and think they hear news. Truth is a very cruel thing to be served net.

Btw there is a petition that gather signs for the European Parliament to demand an investigate on the role of EP President Schulz the week before the referandum.
"Martin Schulz has blatantly lied and threatened the Greek people trying to persuade a nation to vote Yes in the 5th July referendum. This is unacceptable behaviour of the president of the European Parliament. Investigations are demanded whether this is either legal and/or ethically correct."
https://secure.avaaz.org/en/petition/Eu ... z/?cyfPPeb

So let's see some truths and research about the role of specific people. :notworthy:

It is interesting to see a sociopath demand from the US Government to exchange Puerto Rico with Greece.
It is also interesting to see how US Government will react to those orders.

* I remember very well, how they told us, that yeah, the EU and especially the EURO would lower the standard of living in Germany in the short run,

The Troika ought to bear this in mind:
JFK wrote:Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.
A sad say for democracy.

And it's not like the banks don't have form for this sort of shenanigans. In 1984-85, for each £1 that Band Aid or Live Aid sent to Ethiopia, the banks clawed back £16 in "debt" repayment.

…and my sincerest apologies for being German.
What the "re"union brought us has turned Germany into being Europe´s greatest arsehole, that treats just about all of Europe as suburbia for the superior culture of garden dwarves and f******* bavarian f******* Weißwurst.
Our highly praised chancellor is nothing but a spokesman of the Frankfurt stock exchange, and despite respecting the man for not having let his fate put him out off his life, I can´t help but see our minister of finance as some kind of emetic on wheels.
Germany will get the reward for mistreating the European Union like that one day.
I´d like to emphasize I never voted for the f******* CDU/CSU, the party of chancelor f******* Merkel, parts of which have it hard hiding their sympathy for the far right sector.
I am sick with disgust when I think about where these retards are taking Germany.
Me, I am all for the United States of Europe. Greece´s contemporary trouble, a situation that was ultimately caused by privately owned companies, the not at all respected rating agencies, could have been a great opportunity to get us Europeans closer together and further soften up the borders.
Not an option for those oldtimers who want the D-Mark and Wilhelm II back.

Well, now please step asside for the stupid german money, the demented are "go".

My knowledge of current European affairs is somewhat fuzzy so do forgive me but from my scant understanding didn't Greece originally want to join the European Union - I mean it wasnt forced in to it was it???

Now as I recall from old newsreels I don't recall anybody putting up their hands and shouting "pick me" in any of a variety of languages when the cattle trucks rolled up

So the Auschwitz comparison is somewhat redundant.

Unless on the other hand you were hinting at - if the Greeks did some work it would make them free (Arbeit Macht Frei)

Moderator note: I know feelings are running high, but there is not actually a genocide going on within the EU. That kind of hyperbole is dangerous.
