Glad it's finally out! Anyone know if it's available digitally?radiojamaica wrote:Yeah, I've been playing that James Ray cd quite a few times over the weekend too. Love it

The most successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure uniformity but the one that removes the awareness of other possibilities, that makes it seem inconceivable that other ways are viable, that removes the sense that there is an outside.

This sounds like a rejected Tarantino soundtrack to me

Alas. Guess I'll have to get it that way, then. I came across it last fall (posted it here, actually), when they released the first two songs on soundcloud. Been waiting for this awhile.Being645 wrote:Only CD/LP. You can listen to some tracks here:sultan2075 wrote:Glad it's finally out! seems to me 'between those states of mind' has been slightly mellowed out. do you agree?Being645 wrote:

"Slightly mellowed out"... ... well, no, it's err, all the same ... and then, err ... things gather way ... ...paint it black wrote:seems to me 'between those states of mind' has been slightly mellowed out. do you agree?Being645 wrote:

It's the same version, no? Maybe mastered slightly different?
Anyway, faux Tarantino soundtrack? That sounds rather good
I love the album, but I loved the Longfolk ep also a lot. To see this as a genuine released artefact makes it even better!
And for that Gangwar live in 93 cd on d-Monic to come out just a drop earlier makes this a mighty fine time for any James Ray aficionado
CLT Push The Sky Away (terrible, terrible news there... so sad)

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"
