Hello everyone ,back in the early to mid eighties I was an impressionable teenage metaller and pre internet Kerrang was my Bible . Two writers Howard Johnson and Dave Dickson occasionally reviewed something a little out of the ordinary and this often piqued my curiosity, especially a band called The Sisters of Mercy. I was intrigued but didn't actually know any of the records. And then as they say ,something changed my life. Dave Dicksons review of First and Last and Always. I recall him waxing lyrical about channeling the spirit of Altamont. At least I think I do ad u haven't read it for 30 years . Dies anyone have a copy they could share?
