James Rays Gangwar: Underdog

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

I was going through a stash of singles and came across a James Rays Gangwar flexi (Underdog) that I was keeping with my Sisters Long Train flexi, and my old addled brain just can't remember where it originally comes from. Any information offered is surely appreciated.

If I remember well, a friend of mine got one of these at a James Rays Gangwar live show around '93.

I still haven't heard this track. It's not on either of the recent reissues, nor on youtube.

Wow, back after a twenty year absence. There must hardly be any bands from the early era who haven't reformed. Hopefully not just a one-off show but a real coup for the festival.

This is one that I am sure that I have always been missing. One for sale on Discogs for £36.00 - seems a little steep :)

Is anyone able to share an MP3/FLAC?

I can. It's crap because it's from a flexi-disc. If no-one gets in before me (I'm away for a week) I'll add it to my Youtube channel.

I remember being offered a bag of crisps as a swap for the flexi
