GW8: Deadline 11:45 Saturday 3rd October

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Apologies for the very late appearance of the thread for game week 8. Real life intruded into fantasy football world this week meaning I totally forgot about it.

Anyway its here now. So come on share your views on this weeks games.

I *think* it's a game where they play the ball with their hand. A bit like playing the ball with your foot, in football. :innocent:

I do.
FPL is sort of back. I think Aggro crashed it.
Could be a couple of ton-ups this week.

Cheers.

I still can't get onto FPL? Maybe that's not a bad thing...

Looking at the detailed stats I'm predicting 96pts for me. Then it's up to Martial and Sánchez to drag me over the line. :von:

Always! It was a toss up between bringing in Vardy or Pellè. I thought Vardy had more chance of scoring against Norwich than Southampton against Chelsea...

It's absolutely shocking.
And making me seriously question my FPL selections now.
Hazard & Ivanovic were the first two in this season.

I'm a Chelski in real life, but shed all my fantasy Chelski in GW3 WC.

And I'm glad I did, as there's trouble at bridge.

Did you see the post match "interview" with Jose? One question followed by a 7 minute rant.

When his major point was that referees are scared to give Chelsea penalties he wasn't on good ground. Maybe Falcao should have got a pen but Southampton were denied 2 equally reasonable penalties before that.
