Pere Ubu and Pure Ubu (Beer)

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Although its supposedly named after a dog at the brewery, I can't help feeling someone at brewery must also be a fan or at least aware of the band.....

anyways as a marketing ploy it worked - caught my attention on the shelves and had to but it - and glad I did - for the beer drinkers among you this is great. Give it a try!

Or a fan of the French surrealist drama whose main character the band were named for : https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ubu_Roi

There could be a good marketing strap line in there though - "You don't need a cure - you need a Pure Ubu"
"Down to the bus - into the town
And into the the pub for a Pure Ubu" etc etc

Saw Pere Ubu this summer - it makes me dizzy (in a positive sense) without any fermented ingredients.
