RIP Phil Taylor saw the Bryan Robertson era of the band not good but I was stood right in front of Lemmy so I was in bass heaven!

after his first hiatus from the band, little philthy came back for my favourite motorhead album ever "Rock 'n' Roll". the subsequent tour was the first time i saw motorhead -Rock City 1987. awesome. saw motorhead about 10 times over the next 7 or 8 years many of them with phil.
so....thank you for being part of THE LOUDEST SOUND i have ever heard (the march or die tour at leicester demontfort hall: almost painful at the time, totally stone deaf for 3 days after the event ...)
and thank you for being faster on the double bass-drum pedals than i could ever hope to be,; so much so i didnt bother to use them at all!
a personal hero, a rock n roll legend, and a fucking philthy animal. RIP man.
