Weird!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Totally irrelevant, but don't we all need a bit of irrelevance in our lives? Well, don't we?

This is a pic that's circulating on the net; allegedly it's NIKE's latest advert:
Image
it's actually a fake, created by some prankster. pretty sick though, eh? (apologies to any Israeli Heartlanders - I just thought it was interesting, in a sick kinda way.)
full story can be found here http://www.snopes.com/politics/business/nikebomb.asp

Also stumbled across this bizarre picture:
Image
it's allegedly a baby dragon (!) in formaldehyde, which first turned up in the 1890s (some bloke recently rediscovered it in his garage!) full story here http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/entertain ... e=Even%0Ai
'Draconologists', who are dragon experts, are apparently taking it seriously. Bizarre!

Hehe me too.

I believe this is real; why would a fake bigfoot have boobies?

Me too. If it's a fake, the dragon's exquisitly detailed, even down to it's tiny nails and teeth.
It was clearly made by someone with too much time on their hands.

Good point.
I don't know why, but I've always had the burning desire to find a tall bloke, dress him in a gorilla costume and produce my own fake bigfoot film.
Any volunteers to play the big hairy dude?

Dragons are great. Until they torch your flock in a drive-by. I mean, who can eat that much lamb kebab?

Yep- and that no one has come up with a satisfactory shortened version of 'abbreviation.'

Not really. It's one of the most commonly misspelt words, alongside"misspelled/-spelt".

Don't know if I've mentioned this before, but speaking of dragons, at Hagenbeck's they had one of the weirdest creatures I've ever seen - the "leafy sea dragon".

Those seahorses are massively weird. They look just like seaweed until they swim off.

I like this thread. I like the fact that someone went to the trouble of making that dragon. Weird, for want of a better word, is good.

i think it's very cute! if it's real, then it's unique and special, if it's a fake, it's a work of art.
