Just saying hello

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

hello!
After following this interesting forum for a while now i think it's time to take the plunge myself.
Having been a Sisters fan since being a youngster, which is to say since the first half of the eighties, it tells something about my age i guess.
Looking forward to being with you guys at the concert in the AB in springtime!

One thing bothers me though. all kinds of sources suggesting there were made hundreds of mastertapes during SOM recording sessions over the years.
Why begrudge us the nice surprise of an album with interesting alternate takes of known songs, maybe even a 'new' song added here or there.
I can only dream on...

Oh and by the way, i'm no goth

Hi!
The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.

Really, ladies and gents? 5 replies in and no-one has asked The Question?

I'm not angry, you understand - just very, very disappointed.

Hi JanS ... :D ... welcome here ... :D ... ... and enjoy your hopefully long-lasting stay ...

Yeah some old official demos ... only most of them are in circulation anyway, I guess ... ...
Something new (i.e., some of those songs hidden in those drawers for decades)
or something completely new (like tracks written since 2010), that were in fact cool.

Anyway, here's the big question: YCBTO - yes or no? ... ;D ...

Welcome

Run while you still have the cha- oh, you've answered the YCBTO question. Now you're trapped here forever.
Any more of that and we'll be round your front door with the quick-setting whitewash and the shaved monkey.
