SOM wife with hubby's CD collection looking for a new home

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Hi everyone,

I am a Sisters of Mercy fan's wife. I am a harpist and a big music fan myself.

My husband has quite a collection of Sisters of Mercy CDs. They were his favorite band in high school and college. We met in college so I know how much this band meant to him! We spent a lot of time in record stores looking for different Sisters of Mercy CDs.

In the last 5 years, my husband has gotten rid of his hard copies of music and gone digital. I joined this forum looking for someone to donate his collection of 14 CDs.

It would be great to find a new home for music that means so much to him.

I'll post in the Trade section as well - though I'm just looking to donate.

Thanks,

-Lorna

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"
