Lemmy passed away?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Appears to be true. I guess we all knew it was coming sooner rather than later, but it's still heartbreaking.

Killed by death.

That's the s**t with time moving on: We can't move all the way with it.

I guess a Whisky and a noisy spin for a Motörhead album tonight would be a good way to celebrate his lifetime effort.

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

I will miss the annual Motörhead dose in Dusseldorf.
And yes, Rock In Peace, Lemmy! To me you are immortal, anyway.

I am surprised how much this gets to me. But he was 70 years old, and didn't exactly take it easy on himself.

49% motherfucker, 51% son of a bitch, 100% legend. I always considered him one of the last living heroes of rock and roll. Who's left? Shane MacGowan?

I don't want to sound rude, mean or just not nice, but all this musicians become more noble (in classic meaning), more Parle-vous france?, more gentelmen~ish (with small except to AE, but he's not such big figure), while Lemmy was Lemmy. One of a kind. Just as you wrote.
