This seemed like as good a place as any to try and gain some more info on this band. As far as I know they only put out one 12". Anyone know the title? Or if they did more stuff.
I just remember the song being fantastic in a trad goff kind of way.....
If anyone can enlighten me further........

I saw the "Christabel Children" on the same bill as "Rosetta Stone" and the "Screaming Marionettes" years ago, they had a really tall guy and a wee blonde girl on vocals, I remember they went on about "Environmental issues" a lot, well it was about '89 , sorry, but I don't know about any records they released, it was about the first and last time I heard of them.
Being brave is coming home at 2am half drunk, smelling of perfume, climbing into bed, slapping the wife on the arse and saying,"right fatty, you're next!!"
Definitely one 12" single, as i pickd up a copy many years ago from goth uber shop Ressurection Records in Camden. Supported Christian Death way back i believe. Record is in storage at the moment. i'll try and dig it out for title & tracklisting.

Nothing on discogs, this
"The Christabel Children
Did support tour for the Marionettes, female lead singer.
comparisons: Lydia Lunch"
from http://www.wildewood.co.uk/artistes/artistec.php is all I can find. Apart from someone has the record as a "Want it now" on ebay.
Not much help eh?

Hey, my Mum is the 'wee blonde girl'. Her name is Anna Dupres, if you were wondering. The band split up a long time ago, but now she has her own band called Gigi Le Jarre.
As for the 'really tall guy', we don't know him anymore, but I think he lives in America and is quite rich.
