GW28: Deadline 18:45 Tuesday 1st March

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Posting this early as I'm off following a band on the road for the next couple of nights.

Here's a link to GW27 so once the tables are updated you'll be able to see the end of game week update.

But I will say at first glance it was a narrow win for IGM in the classic league.

6 points?
Been a few close ones this season.
Right. Better see what wreckage is left of Unstuck Forest.
I might need to pick some hornier players this week.

Oh, & on an Oscars theme...

6 points? well a victory is a victory i suppose, not that it matters really as we're competing on the seasons total aggregate of points. has anyone kept a tally of weekly wins/loses/draws? i'd be interesed to know (not enough to go back and work it out for myself but if anyone else can be arsed.....)

so this GW i was going to play my bench boost (why not?) but Aliiiiiiiiiii (aye) has been flagged doubtful so i may leave that depending on his fitness; and i've brought Barkley back. nothing more to tell.
good luck all. 8)

thanks Mav. so if it was done on points awarded to weekly matches (3 for a win, 1 for a draw) it would be 43-37 to the EIB...hmmm. its a good job that when we do do well we get a good haul.

Yeah I kinda forgot about GW27 but I managed a fluke 55 from a ten-man Kirkstall Wanderers. Roll on tonight's games!

Another game week draws to a close and what a game week it was. Defeats for Spurs, Arsenal, and Man City meant that the point gained by Leicester on Tuesday night turned out to be a good one.

In the world of fantasy football once again IGM showed that when they win they win big and just for once it was replicated in the head to head league.

Classic
IGM 462 v EIB 350
+112 to IGM
Overall IGM +330.

Image once again sits well on Meteora Heartland XI

Image goes to FC Bennweg-Zeis 1921 with a score of 64 points which considering the no-shows by a lot of the heavy hitter players was a very good score.

H2H
IGM 27 EIB 6
Overall the EIB lead is reined into +26

Complementing his yellow jersey Meteora Heartland XI wears the Image once again and with a 6 point lead it will still be there at the end of the next game week.

Go IGM!! :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:
