GW32: Deadline 11:45am Saturday 2nd April

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

So now we enter the final straight and EIB have some work to do.....

Here's the scout preview stolen unashamedly from the FPL site:

The Scout Preview - Gameweek 32

Four of the top six teams in the Barclays Premier League are handed home comforts this time around as The Scout analyses the Gameweek 32 schedule.

League leaders Leicester City seek a fourth successive victory as Southampton visit the King Power Stadium. Third-placed Arsenal entertain Watford, West Ham United look to extend their 12-match unbeaten home run as Crystal Palace make their way to Upton Park, whilst Manchester United go head-to-head with Everton at Old Trafford.

Elsewhere, Liverpool welcome second-placed Tottenham Hotspur to Anfield, Manchester City travel to AFC Bournemouth and two of the bottom four square up at Carrow Road, as Norwich City play host to Newcastle United.

Talking tactics

Jurgen Klopp trialled a 4-4-2 system for Liverpool’s trip to Southampton last time out. With James Milner suspended and the in-form Roberto Firmino sidelined due to a hamstring problem, the Reds’ manager partnered Daniel Sturridge with Divock Origi up front, whilst Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana were handed the wide roles at St Mary’s Stadium. Both Sturridge and Coutinho grabbed a goal apiece in the 3-2 loss, whilst Lallana’s assist means he now has three goals and as many assists in his last six league appearances. Although Firmino – if fit – remains the chief target for many Fantasy managers, Klopp’s side may well furnish our squads with further options as the Reds prepare for nine fixtures in the final seven Gameweeks.

Alex Neil opted for a two-man frontline for Norwich’s vital trip to West Brom. The Canaries boss moved away from a 4-2-3-1 set-up and opted for a 4-4-2, with Patrick Bamford partnered by Dieumerci Mbokani up front, while Robbie Brady and Matt Jarvis were handed flank roles. Mainly utilised at left-back this season, Brady benefitted from a more advanced berth by netting the winner in a 1-0 victory at the Hawthorns, courtesy of a Jarvis assist. With crucial home encounters against relegation rivals Newcastle and Sunderland, allied with a trip to Crystal Palace in the next three, Neil may well retain his current tactics as he looks to steer the Carrow Road club to safety.

Georginio Wijnaldum was handed a change of position for Newcastle’s first home match under Rafa Benitez. Mainly stationed in a central support role by former manager Steve McClaren, the Dutchman was fielded alongside Jonjo Shelvey in the Magpies’ double-pivot against Sunderland, with fit-again Andros Townsend lining up with Ayoze Perez and Moussa Sissoko in the spots behind Aleksandar Mitrovic. Although he provided the assist for Mitrovic’s late leveler, Wijnaldum failed to produce a single attempt on goal in the 1-1 draw, suggesting his attacking potential may be blunted in light of Benitez’ tinkering.

And finally, Gary Neville got sacked by Valencia, who saw that coming?

Going to be a tough one this week.
Some jet lag I think may creep in.
Keeping eyes on pressers before I commit to a squad.
:)
Cheers.
