Heartland - Black Sand Extension

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Has anyone heard this remix? I can't see it on youtube. Is it any good ....is it worth uploading here perhaps?

I've only seen an item on eBay featuring this track ... and remixes of other bands ... to me, it looks like only recently done.

If it's anything like the Black Sand "remixes" of The Cure, it'll be a tedious extended version where sections have just been looped (poorly) to make the track longer.
Cheers.

Yes, saw it on eBay, a compilation featuring many other bands, inc The Cure I think. One to ignore then perhaps.

I certainly wouldn't bust a nut hunting it.
Here's an example of a The Cure "remix"

The main site is here & you can search the index for The Sisters.
Here are the tracks available
Adrenochrome (Black Sand Extension)
Alice (Black Sand Extension)
Body Electric (Black Sand Extension)
Floorshow (Black Sand Extension)
Heartland (Black Sand Extension)
I Was Wrong (Black Sand Extension)
Haven't a scooby how to play any of the songs though.

He did have a soundcloud page, but as he was using copyright material, they stopped letting him upload stuff.

I'm going to drop this in Sisters chat
Cheers.

The links on his site go to a site called hearthis.at, but his page has nothing on it

Only Sisters stuff on there I could find was this extended mix of Nine While Nine & a pretty awful cover of Marian
Cheers.

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"
