cant believe there isn't a thread for this.
one of the greatest sportsmen ever, let alone being probably the greatest boxer in living memory. Ali was a gentleman and a professional; a fabulous ambassador for boxing and sport in general. a truly unique individual, a genuine legend.
RIP Cassius, you were The Greatest.
RIP Muhammed Ali

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Absolutely seconded. And more than that, also as a person and in his political standing Muhammed Ali was one of a few in his time, eastmidswhizzkid wrote:cant believe there isn't a thread for this.

a true legend. It should take a while to find someone like that nowadays ... My condolences go above all to his family, and to
his daughter in particular ... a man like this will never be forgotten.
R.I.P., Mohammad Ali ... ...

As a boxing fan, I will remember him forever. I'm just 22, but he was one of my heroes. A true rebel, a true sportman, a true legend... he was also a poet!
Here is one of his non-boxing poems, about a prison massacre: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNrNpw7hmcE
Float like a butterly, sting like a bee Champ! You'll never be forgotten.
//and a song from one of my best friends (also a true TSOM fan) dedicated to Muhammad Ali: The Revenge of Muhammad Ali http://www.audiomack.com/song/ali-ece/m ... nin-ntikam#

Dance the ghost with me.
Ali was that type of sportman that showed that muscles and strenght are not enough so reach true success in sport.
Taking his conditio his last fight was very long.
