European Championship

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I'll predict 1-1 with my head.
But would dearly like England to be the first team to score more that 2.
So my heart-led prediction is 3-0. ;D

Because i prefer to root on underdogs i was wishing that Wales could win. Too bad.

But draw in Deutschland vs Poland was nice, even that i hated atmosphere built here before that match.

After all, the English have won deservedly. The goal by Bale was just great, but so were the goals by Vardy and especially Sturridge ... :notworthy: ...
During the second half, the English played clearly better, more active and it paid.

As to Germany : Poland ... the half-asleep Germans can count themselves happy they didn't receive some coincidental goal from the strong playing Polish team... ...

I don't know if it's possible, but it would be nice if PL meet Wales in 1/8 final. (Polish minoroty in Wales could drunk this or other way).

Could be possible if you end up as third in your group.

If.
Otherwise PL could end up on second and mayby first place and then it's whole diferent story. But until end of today game, nothing is certain, and knowing how it was in the past, PL team may not "survive" pressure.

Can't argue there. It was electric from start to finish.
But the Beeb are all up Ronaldo's ring piece today. Man of the match, record this, record that.
I thought the Hungarians were superb & it was so sad that Szalai hit the post. They just kept coming & Portugal weren't really sure what hit them.
In the end, it was still a terrific game to watch & there are quite a lot of sore heads over here today
Cheers.

Heard it was good match.
Congratulaions to Hungarian Football team, but Portugals didn't play well during last tournaments. Cristina, oh, Cristina.

I wonder how much Jack White gets paid in royalties every time someone scores a goal?

How ironic, Englanders who were mainly for leaving UE are about to leave Euro 2016. Go Iceland!

Schadenfreude moment: :D

Oh my goodness that was absolutely f**king dreadful

With a team playing that crap it's not surprising we lost to Iceland, we'd probably lose to Farm Foods 2nd XI as well
