GW3: Deadline 11:30 Saturday 27th August

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Welcome to game week 3.

If you missed Steve's summary of game week 2 over on t'other side then you can find it here http://thecurecommunity.freeforums.net/post/144413

Back to a Saturday morning deadline as the Friday night PL is given a rest this week.

If you've got a lot of non-playing/injured players it might be time for that wild card before the front runners disappear off into the distance......

That Celery bloke from West Ham needs a smack.
That was a nailed on goal with an assist from my last chance auto-sub & he managed a 2 on the Rooney Scaleâ„¢

Think I'm going to wait & see how the EFL games pan out before pulling the trigger on my team
*The Rooney Scaleâ„¢
0- shot is on target
1- hits the post
2- hits the ad boards
3- front of terrace
4- back of terrace
5- off the upper deck
6- into the upper deck
7- on the roof
8- into car park
9- into adjoining property
10- hits overhead blimp
+1 modifier for going into the corner. +2 modifier for hitting the sidelines.
Cheers.
Steve

(as you may have read elsewhere) i've bitten the bullet and played my wildcard. it cant get much worse so i'm slamming the brakes on before i do a marc bolan (and the thought of having anything in common with someone who named their band after a block of cooking lard is enough to justify the WC in my eyes...)

That Rooney scale reminds me of one of my favourite terrace chants :
When you're sat in Row Z

That's Zamora

Well that was a rubbish week for the Industrial Groove Machine. With the exception of Iesus' Meteora Heartland FC who recorded the top score for the week.

Let's all use the international break to review our teams and our strategies. Maybe it's time for that wild card (if you've not played it yet).

What a balls-up. I completely forgot to do anything while I was on holiday.

Come on chaps Mav is right. We can do a little better all together. You don't have to jump to the top at once but step by step become better. Just check the list of players who didn't give any points or gave less than expected and make a transfer a better cheaper one. :notworthy:

Edit- Just realise i was at the top points this week with only 2 transfers. Nice big shout out ;D :notworthy:
