With the Mexico date in between Madrid and Sao Paulo, I would look into cheap flights to Mexico City if I were in the US/Canada. A tuesday gig is not ideal, probably requiring two days off work, but sadly I think it's the closest you'll have them this year.

Not me. Teaching Xenophon on Tuesday evenings. But maybe I'll get lucky and they'll pop into Mordor on the Potomac...
I'm certainly up for drinking heavily and talking about Hegel (he's History's Greatest Monster, really).

so I guess the Sisters enter stage about 9 PM then, which means we Europeans don't have to sit up all night waiting for setlist and videos. I'm expecting the first rocking videos and quality reviews just in time for my morning coffee at 7 AM please
At least three US heartlanders going to this it seems?

Absolutely. Mexico-City timezone is - 6hrs from GMT. ´So they have some additional time to relax before the gig ... good ... ...

Yes. Have a nice travel, a wonderful meal (at best) and then enjoy the gig, everybody over there ... ...
First off I was amazed by the amount of counterfeit merchandise that was available directly outside the venue. There were tents upon tents of bootleg shirts. Half expected the Greek to pop up. In the lobby where legit merchandise was being sold was a guy selling bootlegs. Including Chicago '91, very random.
The venue itself was interesting. There were stairs carved into the ground and it was very dark. A few people fell.
The opening band was a "metal" band called The Gentle Storm. They had two female singers and one was local. A lot of people seemed to be there for them. They end up playing over an hour and it felt like co-headliners.
Finally the stage was set and the Sisters came on. The was a lot of fog and some lights that seemed to distort photos. I could see them playing right in front of me but the picture didn't take.
The sound mix was decent with less feedback then I have heard in a while. The crowd was great clapping and singing.
Andrew seemed in fairly good spirits but very little interaction with the crowd.
The encores stole the show for me. After This Corrosion the crowd was chanting "Sisters" and the lights stayed off. It looked like they might come back, but sadly they didn't.
Overall the show was great, energy was great. Ben's guitar playing on Jihad was amazing.
Another one down and I want MORE!

You can really see what I mean about the lights in this video! I was in front of this camera angle and could see quite well but the lights distort the images.

There are specific lights they use that do that effect. My sony cam and samsung handie cam had both distort image in specific songs and lights in all concerts i used them.
