Over on my TSOM blog, fans of ancient history or shameless nostalgia can read all about the band's appearance at Washington DC's 9:30 club on 10th September, which is as far as I know the final unlisted gig from 1983 to require adding to the Wiki Gigography (although a few fake dates still remain in it). Thanks to those who helped to track down the details of this one. Would love to be proved wrong on this one, so if anyone knows of another unlisted gig, please get in touch !

That's superb.
Do you have any scans from the Wash Post's review?
That's be awesome to see.

Very interesting!
One minor correction: the address would have been 930 F Street Northwest - there is no 930 F street W. The city is divided into four quadrants radiating out from the Eye of Sauro- sorry, radiating out from the US Capitol building (specifically, the crypt beneath it). The boundaries follow the ordinal directions, so the quadrants are Northwest, Northeast, Southwest, and Southeast. As it happens, I walk past the site of the original club about once a week. It's now an area characterized by construction, retail, and tourists.

The most successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure uniformity but the one that removes the awareness of other possibilities, that makes it seem inconceivable that other ways are viable, that removes the sense that there is an outside.
