Let's turn to happier things...

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

1) isn't it is lovely to hear that bass sound again?

2) anyone one know what Mr Marx is up to these days?

I know that these remixes aren't everyone's cup of tea, but this one certainly highlights how that bass sound still has its 1983 power : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snxY42bg2YQ :notworthy:

"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

The bass is great and wonderful ... but then it's getting fully submerged in a sweeping load of yelling bullshit.

 agreed.
and its not even the fix bassline when theyve finished bollocking about with it. i hate mash-ups: if the original is perfect why commit "sacrilege" (pun intended just for the f**k of it - i was there in '86 and bought serpent's kiss the day it came out actually.) pure or snore.
needle-drop of reptile house ep best way to hear that 1983 power. :von:
