I was Wrong/Neverland

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

I attended this gig because I remember the rowdy crowd and telling the crowd "Shut the f**k up"

I scrolled down on youtube and it didn't say the year. I guess Leeds 2003??

enjoyed watching that. forgot how many layers they used to have and how we took that for granted. much nicer than the steamroller we have now (apart from Davey, he's done his bit very well).

I don't have sound on my PC but he said much the same at Wolverhampton in 2003

The Leeds gig was in a shoebox and you couldnt see the bar, never mind the stage - this venue looks a little larger!

I saw on you tube The sisters playing in Latvia 2016. Bloody awful! Come on where has your spark gone?

The spark is still there. Liverpool and Sheffield were great. It's all personal opinion. These threads descend often into pointless argument.

i agree with abridged. also, recordings of the band sounding awful live exist from the very beginning of this band. thirdly if eldritch ever reads this forum these days its certainly not as often as in the past and for sure he takes no notice of it. therefore posts like this just feel like trolling to be honest.

Best to be honest about gigs. This is what this forum is about?

More positives than negatives.

All the best :)
