Chris Catalyst - new album/ website/ blog

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Coming tomorrow! Meanwhile, there's a new blog up on his website which might answer a couple of questions you've asked in this thread.

I hope a good soul buys the "play any song you want package" and asks Chris to play "Far Parade" :innocent:

Indeed the email wrote among others:

"Hello from PledgeMusic,

Team Pledge are delighted to inform you that Chris Catalyst: Life Is Often Brilliant has reached its goal!

If you pledged via a credit card, we’ve just charged your card." etc..

update... listening party on Thursday at 8 pm. I'm assuming that is Heartland Standard Time.

AccessPass Update 01 February, 2017
Life Is Often Brilliant - Listening Party - TOMORROW (Thurs 2nd Feb) at 8pm

Hey all,

My album is ready and I think you’re going to like it. I hope so, at least.

I’ll upload it to the ‘Updates’ section as usual, so you can download it and listen, at 8pm TOMORROW NIGHT.

To join in, talk up on Twitter about using the hashtag #LifeIsOftenBrilliant – as that’s the message that I want to get across from this record. No matter how bad things can be, life really can be great, and it’s a message worth sending out.

You can then search what other people are saying and join in with each other using the hashtag.

If you’re not on Twitter, you can join in on the Eureka Machines ‘Champions And Underdogs’ page here:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/eurekamachines/

Where me and a bunch of other people will be listening, and I’ll share some stories about the songs and the recording process and so on.

Have a drink – or whatever it is that helps you relax – ready. This is a party, a celebration of life and friendship and music and all the things that add colour to our day.

And remember, #LifeIsOftenBrilliant .

Please share this around to any of your like-minded pals who maybe haven’t got around to pledging yet. This is one of the best parts of the whole process – the internet is a truly wonderful thing sometimes – we get to share an experience collectively through the airwaves or whatever it is that makes the internet work.

See you there, I am excited to share this album, which I am so proud of, with you all.
Chris X

PS FLACS will go online at the end of the campaign, for those who require that kind of thing. Hope that’s cool.

PPS I’ve put a load more blogs online from the past few months which show perhaps where my head was at during the finishing stages of the album. Go see – http://www.chriscatalyst.com/category/blog/

PPPS If you are wanting to order shirts or hats, now is the time to do it, as the order is going in on Friday!!

I read somewhere it was a little too close to home for Von.
