One blinding flash of sense...just like the President's

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

If recent election results have been getting you down, better news from France where one of the main candidates for the Presidency is likely to be ... a huge TSOM fan!
Benoît Hamon, the "French Jeremy Corbin" was the surprise winner of the first round of the Socialist Party primary and has an (admittedly slight) chance of going into the final run-off against (most likely) Marine Le Pen.
In an interview with French Rolling Stone magazine he tells of his love of Von and the boys, even making a joke about the historic lack of job security for Eldritch's bandmate employees!

Do you think maybe if we all show up in gig t-shirts, he'll take pity on us and offer us French citizenship so that we can stay in Europe? Worth a shot, no?

And all we've got is Richard Hammond, who might have worn a trenchcoat in sixth-form, and is definitely a vampire now!

Honest question: does ANYONE think Von will actually release another record?

Honestly, my guess is he said "I'll do it, if Trump wins!" because he didn't think Trump would win (that being said, I'd buy 12 copies of 'War on Drugs' b/w 'Crash & Burn').

If you asked a douchebag from Queens what his favorite TSOM record is, what would the answer be?

Speaking of flashy things, bombastic, exxaggerrettionn, i think that Tramp would apprecitate style of This Corrosion and More. And both songs (lyrics) suits well to Tramp.

Lots of hipsters are vegan, but not all vegans are hipsters.
On the other hand, both sides decide who's hipster and who's not.

I said upon relegation - and maintain it - that Leeds will get promoted back to the Premier League before a new Sisters release.

I see what you did there (now, that is. I actually had to do some research! :|)

The answer, I'm sure, would be "Who?!" Which is as it should be, if one's a particular douchebag from Queens...
