GW27 - Deadline Saturday 4th March 11.30 am

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Evening everyone! How did it get to be Friday so soon? Or March? Or even 2017...
The BatCave is pristinely gloomy and cobweb-infested after its Spring Dirtying, which took most of the last two weeks. If I see anyone with Cillit Bang, they will be banished to the toilets of the local diarrhea clinic.

Following on from the smashing GW26 we had in the Shed, we have one with a few interesting fixtures. Leicester and Hull will be quite a thing, but will Woy be there? Will the team BE a team again? West Brom v Crystal Palace could turn out to be a surprise. I think Liverpool and Arsenal is a 6pointer for them - it had better be more than that for us! This GW will either be a flop or a screamer, not sure which way to go.
I do know that this is Gabbiadini's big chance to shine in my team after I went to the trouble of buying him. It's his debut, and big things are expected of his partnership up front with Kane. I just hope that all my snowflakes get on teh darn pitch this week!

Man U v Bournemouth looms - presumably Rooney isn't haveing Chinese takeaway for a while now?

Love and Rockets from us here in the Cave - both free with a pint of vodka and dry ice xx

Morning all.
Bit cross today as the channel that carries the matches here is only showing Utd v Bournemouth & Liverpool v Arsenal with nothing in between for some reason
Still, mustn't grumble. Wee bit of a double GW this week ;)
Best load up with Stokes :D
Cheers.

well i ended up with 57 points, 7 above the average. this next GW is a bastard though with only 8 of the 20 teams playing. i totally f**ked up by using my free transfer to ship out ibrahimovich for kane.....who isnt playing. so i took the 4 points hit and swapped kane for lukalu as otherwise i wouldnt have any forwards and reasoned he should get 2 of those 4 back for just turning up. still only have 6 players with a game 2 of those are heaton (ill, unlikely to play) and ake who doesnt regulalrly start. ffs! :urff:

I think this weekend's going to hobble quite a few people Lee.
I'll have to play a WC unless I want to ship more points than I'll actually score
Cheers.

What a palaver. I'd already used my WC. However I didn't lose too many points bringing my squad up to a healthy 11 men playing this GW. So no subs!

I almost daren't even look at my team, have a feeling there'll be about 5 names I can name in the starting 11, with 1 free transfer tops thrown into the mix. Is this what they mean by squeaky bum time?

8 active players. Time for a WC soon methinks.
Hopefully I haven't got a H2H againsth the top team as they play their Triple Captain this week.

Well now, that GW27 was a good un. Goals everywhere except where they should have been in my case, but some great games and interesting results. Even Palace won! woohooo! Ibra's banned for 3 games though, take note. Leicester looked good again, Arsenal abject (again), and Spurs were hard pushed by Everton. Sadly West Ham couldn't quite hold Chelsea, and even more sadly, MC and STO with a double GW must have been a bit tired out and failed utterly to bring me points on Wednesday. Damn them.
Anyway, due to the magic of the internets, we has tables and stuff. Even if we're a GW behind in the shed, they won't have even found their quill yet. The BatCave was inspected by pretend Ofsted people and despite BIG wine after it I'm still gibbering.

Here we go:

Nikolas still in charge and in his

Mav's got the Big Shout Out for his whopping 97 points - would have been 101 but for an extra transfer. Well worthy of a :notworthy:

Steve's got the gen on the woeful thing that is the 4 game GW.

Lastly... the H2H complete table:
