And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. 1990 or 1991... I'm 32 but my memory seems to be the worst here :oops:
I heard them accidentally from the radio, it was Vision Thing maybe... I can't say which songs they played (maybe one of them was "Ribbons", maybe something from "Floodland") but it was very poweful. Like a revelation ;D

I believe time was creeping along into 2001 before I listened properly ("oh.. *now* I get it!") Prior to that, I think I'd heard them but hadn't been very impressed.

In my case.. it was a few months before Floodland was released... there was a local club where they played Alice and TOL.. didn't know which band it was at first.. asked the dj.. went to a record store in Aachen, listened to FALAA .. and that's when the whole thing started..

I was 12 back in 92' when my eardrums were awakened to the delights of Some Kind Of Stranger.
My old man heard it in a Manchester (scum) record store & bought FALAA about 2 seconds later (or so he says).
Daft thing is, I listened to SKOS non stop for months before actually bothering to listen to the rest of the album !
