it has lately come to my attention that more than a few of my fellow heartlanders are coming to view my contributions as tedious, tiresome and, to be blunt, rather unnecessary.
i, for my part, have recently found the continual rounds of greetings, birthday wishes and general self-congratulating back-slapping at the expense of wit, debate and intelligent conversation stifling, monotonous and depressing.
to this end i offer you all a once only, never to be repeated opportunity to decide my fate. cast your vote at any time during the next seven days and, depending on the result, i shall either fall upon my (virtual) sword or re-enter the fray refreshed and revitalised.
in order that you may not be unduly influenced in either direction i shall take a hiatus from posting for the duration of the contest...

..but unless we're all really busy all the time, then I think the statistics speak for themselves. People are getting fed up of banal threads, petty sniping, even in jest, sihte grammar, epigrams just to appear clever.
So, yeah I couldn't give a flying f**k whether you stay or go... you tease, tease tease.
But I've been thinking the same thoughts ( specially the one about the banana and whipped cream ) I digress.
my advice, don't think twice.....
have a rest for a while, if it's still not to your likeing stay away. That's what I'm gonna do.
