so you gotta let me know...

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

should i stay or should i go?

And now the time is neer
And so he makes the final log off
To some a rain of feer
To other's just time to bog off

Threads, he had a few
But then again, to phew to mention
If you ignored (as many did)
His tedious punctuashion [Sid Vicous drawl hear pls)

Yes there were times, when we'll thought
It was time to lay off the apostrophe
And thru tedium, we had our doubts
That James Ritchie ever got out
Until one day, he found SG
And left heartland hissssss waighhhhhh.

You are the weekest link. Goodbye.

Since you're the self-appointed voice of reason in this disgraceful matter, please tell me.

- It started with Richey, and no one did anything. The next thing I knew, it was me posting a poll asking people whether they thought I should stay.

Usually, polls fall into two catagories; popularity votes or canvassing opinion. Endless lists are not polls and have very little attraction to me. There has to be appeal for me to participate but I always have a choice to vote or ignore simply by the click of my mouse.

I've started the 'discover the sisters' poll and can already see the album induced discovery patterns forming. I'm genuinely interested how or when people discovered TSOM and people seem to be responding and leaving a few lines describing their first experience/contact. If you can actually draw some conclusions from a poll and as a bonus everyone's got a story to tell then I think it is a valid instrument.

Don't slam the door on your way out RJ :P

You are welcome. Your poem was a nice bit of comic relief.

I don't endorse asking anyone to leave a forum. I have had it happen to me by someone on another forum. I didn't go I stayed, and oddly enough, I now count this person as a friend of mine, and when he is around on THIS forum he posts as Burn. I wish he'd come back.

The best way to handle ppl whose posts you don't like, find tedious, tiresome, rude, or just aren't what you are interested is to just ignore it.

Cheers

Me too.
There's nothing wrong with birthday messages, but generally this site has been overrun by TREE-HUGGING HIPPIES.

Where has all the bile and cynicism gone?
