I gave the film as a whole a "Meh" out of ten.

I'd heard good things about this one, supposed to be the best in the series since Aliens.Still looking forward to it, also hoping the Blade Runner sequel will not be a total let down - an even harder film to live up to !

The back-story that Ridley Scott is trying to construct for the Xenomorphs is confused and confusing, and the pseudo-religious motifs are clunky and obvious.

i lost all respect for bo-ridley with prometheus.

Well that's disappointing then, was hoping for more explanations and a return to the form of the original film after Prometheus, rather than what sounds like a descent into a bewildering mess.
Oh well, i shall remain open-minded and after all, it can't be any worse than the detritus that was the Ghostbusters reboot

It's a leave your brain at the door film. No real story, a bit of a slash fest if you like that sort of thing .Done by the numbers right down to the obligatory sex scene and the predictable ending queuing up another sequel.
