" I’m on my fifth chapter. The first is about my audition for The Sisters and the first few months up to my first tour of America. I’m not sure all Sisters fans are going to like it because it blows the lid a little bit. There’s a Sisters forum called Heartland where I’m not even allowed to be mentioned by name."

His phrasing and sweeping confidence that he'll clear everything up and tell us what to think... ew. I've said it before and I'll say it again: just don't get a positive feeling off that guy. It's too bad because I do think he's talented in many ways. Wish he didn't give me the creeps.

It was "time" years ago, but well, you know...jost 7 wrote:Seconded. It's timeDan wrote:It'd a bit silly that his name and his band get censored. Can we get rid of the word censor? It's a bit silly. Surely we're above such pettiness?
Tbh, it still amuses me how it perpetuates the mythology of the Eldritch vs. Hussey thing, however silly (and frankly irrelevant) that may be 😊
What’s the difference between a buffalo and a bison?
I missed it buried in that thread, sorry

I have been re-reading Names Are For Tombstones in my downtime this week. Some interesting snippets in there, OK, it is written from one side of the story, but interesting none the less.

Seconded. The few times I "met" him (a record signing; post-gig tour bus; etc) he was inebriated and I just did not get a whiff of authenticity. The only other musician I've personally met who I got that vibe from is Reznor. Both just gave me the sense they were faking it by trying to travel the exact same path as others had previously... oh, Page had an underage girlfriend, I'll do that. Oh, Ozzy snorted a line of ants, check! Bono climbed to the top of a public building to yell at the people below, bazanka!
