taking into account the fact that eldritch refers to the compilation of the early songs (you know- the ones that all sisters fans like regardless of anything) as "baby photos" i would imagine he considers his last official full-lenghth musical statement to be "...overbombing".headcleaner2k wrote:When you inevitably kick the bucket do you really want Vision Thing to be your last official full-length musical statement?
If you could ask Andrew Eldritch one question...

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

To my mind, being a fan of both bands, the reinvention of The Sisters songs over the years has been one of their strengths, sometimes it has worked and sometimes not, but rock n roll has to take risks, even intellectually lovely God-like ones.

Yes, I'd agree with that. I like the fact that they don't sound like they did 10 years ago, or 20 years ago, or 30 years ago.Swinnow wrote:To my mind, being a fan of both bands, the reinvention of The Sisters songs over the years has been one of their strengths, sometimes it has worked and sometimes not, but rock n roll has to take risks, even intellectually lovely God-like ones.
Still, I'd have loved to hear an album from when Adam was with the band. I think we'd also get a good record from the current incarnation, of course. Shame it'll never happen.
