RIP George A Romero

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Blimey I didn't even know he was ill. A sad loss. :notworthy:

His film gave me a chill in the spine and made me hide under the pillow when i was young and tried to watch it alone at home in the middle of a dark winter night ;D
A great artist at his work :notworthy:

Hopefully Matt Birman will get to finish Road Of The Dead...so we will at least have that as some form of eulogy... This s**t with people dropping like flies is starting to creep me out though. Makes me not wanna think about our fearless leader....considering his lifestyle and decades of reckless strolling up and down Eldritch Boulevard..

Rest In Pieces George Romero. The most Dead-icated horror auteur out there. S'all I got.
