how to identify 1st and 2nd editions of some bootlegs

Have you established a good reputation at HL and got some Sisters stuff to sell or trade with the community? Or are you searching for that elusive ultra rare live bootleg from 1988? Ever had a bad experience with a trader on Ebay? Let us all know here. Outdated threads will be purged over time.

hi guys
just have been quite puzzled about the following boots, namely how to tell apart one edition from the other

LIVE AT THE TROYAN HORSE
i bought records advertised as 1st and 2nd editions, both in black and blue, and they look exactly the same...

FIRST AND LAST AND ALWAYS Picture Disc
same here, there is supposed to be a Mexican edition (original) and a Greek edition (re-issue) but is there any way to tell one from the other?

A MERCIFUL RELEASE
aside from the first edition being numbered and having a different insert, is there any physical difference in the vinyl itself?

any help would be greatly appreciated!

cheers
Julien

In order to differentiate one pressing from another you should refer to their matrix numbers.

@Elon
The colours of the Greek FALAA PD seem to differ slightly. I've uploaded some pictures of it now. Also the Greek vinyls are most likely different in quality.

Btw, other good and recommendable sources of information on Sisters bootlegs are:

* Ultimatesistersguide

* sistersbootlegs

* The Sisters of Mercy Discography @discogs

thank you all for the good advice and @Being645, it is great to see actual photos of the MX and GR editions of the FALAA picture disc...

The difference is not super obvious but the MX issue does look more vibrant/bright and the GR one more muted...

ill keep digging on the other titles... Thanks a lot!
