GW39 - Deadline Sunday 13th May 14.00

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Evening! If you've not read the noticeboard in the Shed re last GW, please pop over!
It is with great regret that I have to announce the last GW of the season. The last shout for glory is upon us. The last transfer, the last bonus point, the last hurrah. Monday will be a sadder and emptier day than usual. But until then, there are games to play, refs to curse (and players), each other to banter with. Carpe Diem and Noctem! Here are the final fixtures and predictions:

ALL KOs AT 3 PM

Burnley v Bournemouth Hmmm. Could turn out to be very entertaining. Both teams can let go a bit.
Crystal Palace v West Brom Houdini Palace (Murray Mints on way to RH from one in our midst) and Darren Moore's men. For his sake, the Baggies should pull out all the stops. He's the one everyone was rooting for.
Huddersfield v Arsenal Farewell Arsene. Party atmosphere all round, whatever happens.
Liverpool v Brighton DON'T INJURE SALAH!
Man Utd v Watford Shut up, JoMo. Watford, make sure he actually has something to moan about.
Newcastle v Chelsea Let's hope this won't be a damp squib. Looking for a good even fight to the last whistle.
Southampton v Man City I can't see City holding back, but the Saints need to salvage a bit of pride from somewhere
Spurs v Leicester Spurs will be at ease now, so this could be a thumping. Leicester aren't anywhere near form.
Swansea v Stoke The emotional amongst us should avoid this one.
West Ham v Everton Rooney has apparently played his last Everton game with a 'slight injury'. I suspect Big Sam has wanted to break his nose for allegedly saying 'it's him or me'. Not much of a contest... Hammers will go for it.

We know Toure is going, but pay special attention to the rest of the squads. Some of those players will be in different PL shirts before long, and some of them won't be there at all. Last chance to view!

You weren't doing anything else on Sunday, were you?

& there will be time enough to watch the clown shoes part of the grand prix too :D
As all the games are on at the same time, I need to decide on which stream to pick this week.
Otherwise It's Huddersfield vs Arsenal on the legit TV here
Cheers.

Jesus got me points. :D

He reminds me of some graffiti I saw once on the way to a Palace game when I was a kid.
"Jesus saves!"...But Hilaire gets the rebound.
Cheers.

is it all over bar the Mighty Reds winning the european cup? thank fucvk for that. i hereby tender my resignation from the MyHeartland Fitba Corporation with love thanks and happy memeoriies (mainly of the first year when we won!). no regrets but no more for me, ta. i'll bet Swinnow's Swinners will happily take my place, and for what it's worth if ii had to choose anyones aeroplane to crash and burn it wouldn't be ours... :von:

There's been a lot of controversy about the venue.
Air fares are a shade under 1500 notes & hotels are tripling their prices in Kiev.

Not a bad season all things considered. I'd have taken a top 10 finish in both leagues at the start of the season.

Did anyone else do the Draft version as well? I was second in my league for that, and in my local league there was a relatively close finish - the top 3 separated by 12 points after 38 games isn't bad.

Salah was 'this year's Vardy'
