A Mighty Wind

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Wonderful.

Loved it far more than I thought I would.

yes, it is Spinal Tap does folk... but with a softer humour that makes it much more than a cheap excuse to laugh at them that dress badly and sing twee songs. Though it's that too, of course.

Woah. Just had image of Von in his dotage, turtle-neck (black) sweater, perched on a stool in a TV studio set, crooning 'Hey now, ... boo-boo-bah-doo... be good to your family, folks'. It was the bit where I imagined him whistling the guitar solo that really disturbed me.

Here was me thinking this would be a fart-joke thread.

Kidding! But it doesn't seem to be on any cinemas in Leeds :(

Von Doonican. At least he might be able to play the guitar sitting down.
Go to sleep now, Francis.
