The all new 'Who's Going Where and When' thread

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Thinking about Iceage in June. I dunno. Ever feel too old for a band's fan demographic? Lol

I'm going to the beach next weekend! It's supposed to rain, but that's ok. It will be nice to get out of town.

The most successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure uniformity but the one that removes the awareness of other possibilities, that makes it seem inconceivable that other ways are viable, that removes the sense that there is an outside.

Just got back from Patti Smith at the Brighton Dome. 71 years old and still brilliant.

I caught Chameleonsvox in London on Saturday, second time seeing them (last was 4 yrs ago) and second time seeing them do Script of the Bridge in full. I hadn't heard some of those tunes, or even thought about the Chameleons much actually, in ages but still knew all the words. Really good show. Very tempted to make the trip to Manchester in September or whenever to see them do all of Strange Times.

Were VV & The Void support at the London show?

It was some indie band called Theatre Royal. Not too memorable.

I might come from Belgium to London for Sweet Ermengarde this October... It depends on whether my and my wife's jobs allow us some free time, but we're still planning on it!

Waiting for Suede and Peter Murphy to announce their full tour dates. Hoping for them to come to Glasgow but will travel if not. Also on the agenda is Ladytron on Nov 02 (my birthday) with verue changed from the O2 ABC to the QMU due to the art school fire.

You know they're playing in Belgium (B52 Club in Eernegem) on the way back from the UK (Sunday Oct 7th)?

If you go to the London show, see you there!

CV were much better this year than last. New drummer was much tighter!
