Loved it far more than I thought I would.
yes, it is Spinal Tap does folk... but with a softer humour that makes it much more than a cheap excuse to laugh at them that dress badly and sing twee songs. Though it's that too, of course.
Woah. Just had image of Von in his dotage, turtle-neck (black) sweater, perched on a stool in a TV studio set, crooning 'Hey now, ... boo-boo-bah-doo... be good to your family, folks'. It was the bit where I imagined him whistling the guitar solo that really disturbed me.
