Fantastic!! :notworthy: Thanks for putting them up to see what's what.
Mine is in a totally different sleeve, a fake but the quality is ok, I paid a minmal sum for it way back and the inside sleeve has a nice photo of Von, so I don't mind really.
Good to know what the genuine article looks like tho.
Cheers QB

Thanks everybody and thanks Quiff for posting them!!!
I am glad everybody can see the difference between the sleeves, so you don't pay a fortune for a cheap/fake vinyl.

If you are interested in other scans, let me know. I also have fakes and originals of the Braineater stickers. It's not as valuable as the Damage Done, but there are so many fakes around!!!

Hi Yanick, have you acquired more fakes since I sold you the Temple Of Love with orange sticker ( more than a year ago) ??

The Braineater fakes btw. are obvious because the 'real' copies haven't got a 5 mm cut out at the back and have a lighter green print ...

For new fakes... I got a fake ASCOOB CD-R acetate :-)
But I will return this to the seller. He claimed he got this directly from the factory. CD-R used is Maxwell which started manufacturing CD-R in 1995 (2 years after the release of ASCOOB) hehehe

For the Braineater stickers, I made close up scans of them... I probably should post them here soon...

That would be cool actually. I have Alice 12" on the Braineater label, would be nice to be 100% sure it is genuine. It looks the same as the one on your site anyway.

CellThree, rest assured if it's printed on the sleeve it's 110% authentic, The Alice 12" by Braineater should always be one with a special printed sleeve, not stickered ...

Hey all, I just uploaded the scans of various Braineater stickers.

I think the best way to distinguish if the sticker is real or not is by looking at the upper jaw of the braineater guy. The fake one has an extra tooth :D

The other differences I've noticed are:

- Type Ink used and how it was printed on the sticker
- Colour of the green stickers
- like Hojyuu-obi wrote, fakes ones usually have a 5mm cut out, real ones don't
- All fakes I've seen are for TOL, but probably some RH exist as well.
- The fakes I got all seem to originate from UK... (I have my suspicions about who made them).
