Today I have been mostly...

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I like doing flat-pack furniture. They're like Airfix kits for grown-ups.

It is quite disconcerting when the very first instruction specifies half the dowels shown in the assembly diagram & when you end up with half a dozen little bags with "bonus" screws & stuff.

And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Wandering museums with nephews and nieces. Lots of fun!

Laughing at Tory's but oddly thinking naughty thoughts about Emily Maitlis. Maybe I should pop to the local

I forgot to mention at the time, but I chose the hottest Saturday I can remember to do a bit of decorating. Not a good idea. I think I must have lost a couple of litres of sweat!

Back in the office for the first time since May 24th - when I fell and broke my foot. After 7+ weeks of working from home, it's a bit of a shock. I got used to my animal co-workers. Not sure about these human ones.
My life is one long week of stupid clothing benders.

Animal co-workers are often the best. Mine are nice and lazy, and other than occasionally demanding bathtub drinks, are pretty happy to just hang around in the same room as me.

Fixing a dead laptop. Came back from my travels and the little beggar chose to play dead. Thankfully sorted, assume it didn't like being home alone.
