"Don't forget that most of the judges in witches trials had harvard degrees."
Yep, that was f**king awesome. The energy was palpable, starting as early as More, distinguishing itself by Crash and Burn, and in absolutely full flow with Show Me. By lucretia, I couldn’t forget how good it gets even if I tried. It’s just there and unmistakably knowable.
Better reptile, when placed into that mix and held to an undefinable standard, does have a hell of a lot of potential, but I agree with Andrew’s assessment that parts of it aren’t in the right space, though it’s not far off. Or, more accurately quoted, it needs some work. Though I’ve always liked it independently, when contrasted with the very best, it does seem to need tweaking, though not scrapping.
Too much celebratory rum and an early flight to the next gig tomorrow so I will sign off. (Special thanks to Robbie for fulfilling a suddenly annoying FaceTime obligation thing for me and sorry to distract him from his reporting duties!)

Safe trip to NZ
Seconded, and sleep well and deeply underway ... ...
Yes it really was an immense show! I was gutted that I couldn't push on to NZ from Brisvegas, but we have been on the road since the start of August and well... we're vintage edition.
The lads are so generous with their time, there was a non-stop photo session and very friendly chats with fans in the bar until closing. Bloody amazing.
The Perth gig was THE stellar show of the tour for me, just fabulous, but Brizzy was a very very close second.
