fucking outrageous.
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Psst. Wanna buy an album signed by Morrissey? A Bowie album? Lou Reed album?
He's doing so much to tarnish this tiny bits of rest of his reputation.

Wonder if he'll be signing white sheets next.

There was a thing I saw: the facebook reaction images, in order, perfectly reflect the average Smiths fan's changing opinion of morrissey over the years:
The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.

And Moz has wrote brand new song called "Max we miss you so very, very much".*

Jeepers the folk on that forum are not polite to one and other as they say. And talking about Folk, this is genius to be fair...originating from The Ulster Fry I think. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cqu4w4qofmo

Bit of a low blow. He's not overweight.

Morrisey is a twunt though. When I first saw him onTOTP waving his flowers around, even at that young age, I thought twunt, and from that point onwards I have thought the same thing many times, then the flag thing started, again twunt. Then the overt racism, twunt.
I feel sorry for Johnny Marr.
Edited so I can swear, I need to swear.

Morrissey is one of the most self-obsessed, narcissistic "pop stars" we have. It's all "me me me me me" with him, he loves putting himself forward, he preens himself on the attention he gets, and for all his pretences at being a sensitive artist for studenty bedsit types to relate to, at heart he's a lout.
"In a world obsessed with hate laws, none protect me" is another classic example. I really believe that he secretly loves every minute of this; it's attention, it feeds his ego, and it's an opportunity to play the victim and to put himself forward as some kind of emotional martyr. Prime Morrissey fodder.
I haven't seen the Simpsons episode, but what I've heard about it indicates it's nail on the head stuff.

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

What’s the difference between a buffalo and a bison?
@mh wholeheartedly agree. Something from the John Robb interview with Chris stood out for me & that was the fact that when Morrissey goes out for a pint or whatever, he goes out in character rather than as just himself.
Maybe thats just him... there is no veneer.
I remeber Sean Hughes ( a big fan of M) saying that meeting him for a pint through a mutual friend, was a let down. M said something like "I better get them in seeing that I am much richer that you two"
