Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Sorry, been one of those days, in fact that could be the, admittedly, unwieldy tour name.

Heh. I have the same jacket as our glorious leader. But he probably didn't buy it in Primark.

Ace photo, where did you see this Lee? Leathered up and raring to go, just missing a top hat
edit : scratch that question, just seen the other thread.

Careful, the OGL moniker was awarded to Wayne many years ago on the MWIS forum.abridged wrote:Heh. I have the same jacket as our glorious leader. But he probably didn't buy it in Primark.
It's a Levi denim jacket isn't it? Or a "wrangler" like we used to call them, no matter what the brand, back in the day on the Wirral.

For reasons unbeknownst it seems odd to still be enamoured of such a thing, aged 50 and all, but yep they sure as f**k do. Ravey rocking the 'who in their right minds only wears one jacket?' lookeastmidswhizzkid wrote:posted by ben on sisters facebook group. don't they look cool as fuck.Planet Dave wrote:Ace photo, where did you see this Lee? Question - is Von standing on a box or is Ravey equally titchy?

EDIT: i wrote "The Sisters Of Mercy- fuck all the haters" as a comment to Ben's posting the pic and got a 'like' from Mr.Christo. I am nearly 50 and probably old enough to be his dad but it made my day.

I'd say shorter than Von by an inch or two, he really is tiny.Planet Dave wrote:Question - is Von standing on a box or is Ravey equally titchy?
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

News to me too, wow I thought he was as Leeds as it gets. Erm, apologies, Mr Davey. Well, it's not where you're from it's where you're at, and Ravey Davey Gravy is definitely thereBeing645 wrote:... ... so, he's also not from Leeds ... ... didn't know that ...Swinnow wrote:Regarding a height query above.
Looks like southerners who spend too long in Leeds start shrinking.

They look f**king iconic. New album... INCOMING!
Haven't been this excited since... well, you don't need to hear about that. I should know better than to get my hopes up, but, f**k it... hopes are up!

This is just outstanding.
My heart genuinely skipped when I saw it. Far too exciting - but also sort of like 'yes, this is how things should be'. I'm sure there is a suitable German word for that feeling.......

That gang mentality of being in a band - we haven’t seen that for a long time from the Sisters. It's really quite moving to see that in the current live band... a proper band, and proud of it. f**king awesome. Gawd bless 'em.
