city on the vision thing cover

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

I always thought it was NYC. Was sure the tops of the twin towers were visable in the lower-right corner. Due to an acrimonious split, I lost my LP version and you just can't tell from the CD, so I could be talking bollocks...

Seriously, if someone were to scan in the 12" cover at like 300 dpi or more and post a .tiff or even .jpg, then some photoshop tomfollery would reveal all...

...and we could go hunting the original source pic, like a few people did with Reptile House EP!

Dan,

Do you happen to know a webpage where the original Reptile source pic can be seen (I only know it's from National Geographic ...)

I had it on my website, but took it down after a while. If you try the wayback archive for http://www.esatclear.ie/~mhiney you should find it. It's probly in the old thread about it too.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Just wanted to say thankyou. I've never noticed that.
